What does it mean to be in the CIO 100?

Every year, CIO Asia celebrates 100 organisations that have made the best use of technology to derive strategic value and maximum returns for their businesses. Whether ushering existing infrastructures into the new era of requisite agility, or working new technologies successfully into traditional business setups to meaningful ends, the organisations that make it onto the CIO 100 index each year serve as inspiration and proof that striking new paths in information and communication technology use can yield business and even social rewards.

Becoming a CIO 100 honouree gives an organisation greater regional and global visibility. And the most successful companies on each year’s CIO 100 index also stand to win one of that year’s five most coveted CIO Awards —the greatest honour bestowed upon any enterprise user of IT in the region—and keeping company with some of the most progressive organisations around.

The 2010 CIO 100 honorees and the five CIO Award winners will be featured in CIO Asia Volume 2, April 2010 - CIO 100 Index Special Edition.

Executives from the five winning companies will also be recognised among their peers and colleagues at the CIO Asia Conference & Awards ceremony, to be held in Singapore, 9 March 2010.

At this event, these five winners will share their winning strategies, technology innovations which have transform the way their business gets done, and for audience to take away great ideas for leading their own business into the future.

We shall be accepting nominations for the CIO 100 & Awards 2008 programme until midnight January 13, 2009. Therefore, we urge you to file your nominations as soon as possible.
