Private cloud delivery models can create complexity, according to HP research that says these models can also create risk if not deployed correctly.
The deployment challenges can be addressed effectively thanks to the new HP Converged Cloud solutions that facilitate cloud adoption and simplify deployment to enhance business innovation and agility.
Designed specifically for organisations in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), these solutions will help enterprises in the region that are increasingly embracing cloud computing to address the requirements of a dynamic business environment.
A February 2012 research conducted on behalf of HP indicates rapid application development, reduced cost of operations, and enhanced agility to respond to market changes as the top drivers of cloud adoption.
But correct private cloud delivery models are required to get the right results.
Embracing the private models
New HP Converged Cloud offerings for APJ enable chief information officers to quickly embrace the private cloud delivery models without adding complexity and risk to their environments.
These solutions are built on HP CloudSystem, which enables enterprises and service providers to build and manage services across private, managed and public cloud environments.
New HP Converged Cloud offerings for APJ include HP CloudSystem Quick Start Kit and HP CloudSystem Solutions.
HP CloudSystem Quick Start Kit enables users to easily create a tailored, pre-configured cloud infrastructure that meets specific business needs.
HP CloudSystem is based on HP Converged Infrastructure and Cloud Service Automation offering clients a choice of operating systems and hypervisors.
"Success depends on an organisation's ability to rapidly respond to changing market and customer demands," said Aman Dokania, vice president and general manager, Cloud Solutions, Enterprise Group, HP Asia Pacific and Japan. "HP's unique approach of proactively engaging with partners to build an ecosystem is key to speeding our clients' shift to hybrid cloud models that provide the agility they need to innovate."
