The CIO 100 honourees will be chosen by the CIO editorial team (working with an independent panel of judges consisting of industry experts, academics and CIOs) based on information submitted in the nomination forms. Each entry will be judged on how it compares with all other entries submitted.

The most outstanding projects or initiatives will then be shortlisted for the panel of judges to determine the top five projects and IT leaders of the year - winners of the CIO Awards.

Admission to the CIO 100 involves a stringent process that requires an organisation to be evaluated from a range of perspectives. When we look at a company, we will examine how value was added to the enterprise by the projects, including the following criteria:

Finalists will be notified by early March 2015 and will be invited to attend the award ceremony held in conjunction with the CXO - CIO Conference in April 2015 (more event details to come), where the top five CIO Awards winners will be officially announced.
